LITM Pop Picks This Week, featuring Louise Dearman and more!

In this edition of LITM Pop Picks, we have Louise Dearman and more!

Louise Dearman - “Ordinary World”

Singer and songwriter Louise Dearman has been hard at work over the course of the last few months, crafting her high-energy, introspective pop sound; with an upcoming tour in Cardiff in December, she presents her latest single, “Ordinary World”. With her signature electro pop sound, she brings in influences from future bass and synth pop to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the very start; and as the song progresses, it only gets better with her vocal performance, which is clear, and very nicely executed. Add to this a solid mix and master and you have a very listenable, beautiful product — check out the track here!

Steve and Dolapo - “Give Me The Music”

Steve and Dolapo is an original music group blending the talents of Nigerian vocalist/composer Dolapo Oladejo and American vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/producer Steve Petrinko — and on their latest single, “Give Me The Music”, they bring a fiesta of high energy, and feel-good country pop music influences. From the animate basses and brass instruments to the vocals, every bit of the track screams positive energy and represents an infectious, ear-worm groove that you’re bound to love. The production and the vocals come together rather well with the stellar execution to create an enjoyable, rewarding listen. Take a listen to the track here!

Popopportunity - “Desire”

Popopportunity, founded by Perry Moorman in January 2023, is an international collective of musicians dedicated to creating great pop tracks — and on their latest single, they collaborate with Kim Malou to give us “Desire” — a soulful, peppy listen that makes excellent use of its electronic dance elements to present an infectious groove from start to finish. As the energy bounces up and down between the verses and chorus, the rest of the ensemble keeps up excellently, giving us a listen that’s sure to get our heads bobbing. All in all, a winner of a track! Take a listen to the track here:
