Chicago-based Justin Sconza crafts dreamy indie tunes reminiscent of Real Estate and Mac DeMarco. Recording on an 8-track at home, his sound also draws comparisons to Sufjan Stevens, blending influences from The Beatles to Hank Williams— and on his latest single — part of the album “Campfire” — “Been So Long”, he brings a gentle, intimate vibe together with a bit of power from his electric guitars, crafting a sound that engages, and livens up the listener. The melodic writing is par excellence, with its delightful chord structure and its delightfully saturated tape machine sound that lends comforting warmth to the sound. Elizabeth & Jameson, a dynamic duo blending folk, pop, and rock, bring together the talents of Hannah Elizabeth and Griff Jameson. Their stripped-back sound, driven by guitar, violin, and exquisite harmonies, have been winning hearts — and awards — across the UK for a bit now, and on their latest single, “Old Town”, they bring their signature sound back stronger than ever. Forming part of her upcoming debut album “Girl Like Her”, Maya brings a heartwarming, soulful sound with her gentle vocal style, and the mid tempo drumming and the use of the acoustic guitars bring a distinctive, enjoyable sound of their own— sounding like the dawn of the mist on a spring morning.
