Paris Melan started in her home town, Detroit Michigan, freestyling in her car with other boys, not knowing she would wash all of them. For Paris Melan Nicki Minaj is an obvious influence. She loves her strength and ability to be unapologetically herself. She also grew up hearing a lot of old school rap Jay Z, nas, Eminem, Detroit legends like blade ice wood, icewear Vesak, & peezy, the list goes on. Paris Melan performs all over the country and she has also been on the biggest radio station in her city, very locally known.

Hello Paris Melan. What made you want to become a musician?
Ciao Kamil! I’ve been involved in music since I was a very young child growing up in church choirs! It wasn’t until after high school when I found a love for rap! In my head I always thought I would be a singer.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?
Well, before I fully become a flamboyant force in the LGBTQ community. I had a deep love for sports! Basketball and football was where I shined the most. I also enjoy traveling & getting to know different areas of the world.
Your latest song is 'A Blicky UP'. Can you tell us more about the making of it and if there were any unusual things happening during the process?
A blicky up was just a remix to peezy song 2 million UP. I wrote it to hype my supporters up for my upcoming album that just dropped today. “Think PINK”
When you are working through problems in your work, who do you talk to?
My mom or my fiancé, I also have a great support system of friends that I go to when things get tough and they always make me feel better, caution caution caution!!!!
What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Anything to pay my bills chile, but I’ve worked in the health field majority of my years working. When I was 15 I started working at subway that was my first job
Describe your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician.
I love the arts and crafts of this game, being able to bring your vision to life is so beautiful! But dealing with the reality is what makes it hard. Everybody not gon’ like you.
What’s your scariest experience?
tbh I’ve been through a lot of tough situations but the most scariest thing to me is when I was on the freeway and saw a spider on my dashboard, almost killed myself!
What are you focussing on right now?
I’m in album mode. This album is so epic and I would be such a fool to not promote it the best way I can.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
The double standards! There’s just too many when it comes to women & not enough when it comes to men.
What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?
I am on track to taking this thing bigger than anybody of my kind has ever done. I will continue to put my all into everything I do and feeding my fans QUALITY music! Paris Melan is definitely UP NEXT!!
