6ixth Element is a Denver-born emcee, producer, hip-hop artist, and entrepreneur. Having grown up a musician, he began producing hip-hop at age 14. After graduating high school and starting a family, he studied Audio Engineering and Music Business at KMG Studio in Boulder, Colorado. Using the skills he has acquired over the years, he has established his record label, New Golden Era Hip-Hop, and is ready to bring his brand of hip-hop to the world. "Spiritual Form," produced by Anabolic Beats, takes boom-bap hip-hop to the spiritual realm. The song begins with a soulful sample that hooks the listener immediately before dropping slammin’ beats and mind-bending lyricism from 6ixth Element, where he contemplates existence and the human condition. Pay attention as 6ixth Element shows you his "Spiritual Form."

Hello 6ixth Element. What made you want to become a musician?
Growing up around my father being a musician. He was a guitar player. As soon as I was old enough, I started dabbling in different instruments. Messed around in bands and recording studios with friend. I was the one who ended up sticking with it.
Who helped you most in your musical journey?
I've gotta give that one to my wife, Jazz. She's dealt with everything from late night studio sessions, to artistic temperment, inflated ego, and more. She's been my biggest supporter since the beginning and continues to do so.
Your latest release is 'Spiritual Form'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?
I had a specific vision and location that I wanted for the video. Shout out again to Jazz. I made her spend a day with me driving around Denver trying to shoot a music video, despite her having no experience doing so. Eventually, I hired videographer Ransteez of MentallyRich Media to complete that vision.
What social issues are you most passionate about?
Just be kind to each other and keep art in schools.
How do you stay up-to-date with the latest musical trends?
I don't. My goal is to create lasting art. That's not acheive by chasing trends.
Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?
I think all good music has hidden meanings.
What’s an average day like for you?
Jazz and I drop our son off and school, and then it's straight to the gym. After the gym, I hit the studio accomplish any work that needs to be done, whether it's writing, mixing, or music curating. Once the kiddo is out of school, I try to wrap up with label work so we can watch wrestling or anime.
Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans.
I'm on all social platforms @6ixth_element, but I'm most active on IG and Tik Tok.
What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Don't listen to anyone when the tell you to quit. Cut the non-supporters out of your life and focus on your vision.
What are your plans for the future?
Releasing a whole bunch of music and living a dope life with my fam! ✌
