Live In Color is a Swedish pop/rock band from Jönköping, Sweden, formed in 2018. The band consists of the three brothers Jesper, Anton, and Linus, as well as Tim and Melker. "A Better Me" serves as a great example of the band’s incredibly diverse sound. It combines the catchy energy of pop-rock with the warmth of modern country music, going for a diverse yet familiar vibe. The song kicks off with a bright and percussive acoustic guitar pattern, quickly paving the way to a modern sound in which some ambient pads and electronic percussion join a great vocal performance filled with heart and passion.

Hello Live In Color. What made you want to become a musician?
All of us find stories and storytelling as important and beautiful parts of our lives. So the possibility and ability to share our stories, thoughts and beliefs through music have for a long time been a huge inspiration in our lives.
Who helped you most in your musical journey?
Each other. That we have always been there to push each other, develop and elaborate on the dreams and hopes someone else has. You don’t only do it for yourself, another one’s dream becomes a part of your own which means so much more.
Your latest release is 'A Better Me'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?
The meaning of the lyrics quickly came to mind and is an encouragement to not wait to make vital changes in your life if you want to improve it. Even if these changes might be scary. If you believe it’s your way to walk, take it and you will most definitely gain more than you lose.
What was unusual in the creation of “A Better Me” was that in the beginning, the band wasn’t really fond at all of the song idea Jesper (lead song) and Joakim (producer) presented. But after some elaboration it quickly grew into the hearts of everyone, and this change of heart was something we never had experienced before and is a lesson we will take with us into further productions.
What social issues are you most passionate about?
Sustainability (both environmental and social) is an issue we are very passionate about. What legacy we leave to future generations? How can we help to improve the quality of life not just for ourselves, but for every human being and every living thing? What sacrifices are worth making? We follow this discussion closely, not least because two of us recently graduated from university with degrees in sustainable enterprise and development.
Personal growth is also very close to heart which “A Better Me” is a example of.
How do you stay up-to-date with the latest musical trends?
Probably through Spotify and other streaming services. Social medias such Instagram, Facebook and TikTok have helped us get insight. But in terms of our own creations we have never really followed “trends”, only musicians and music we are inspired by.
Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?
Not really hidden, we always have a message with our music and want to share that. Our songs are always based on any of our feelings, thoughts or experiences, and we always strive to become better on delivering these messages in ways so our audience can take part of, relate to and feel with our stories.
What’s an average day like for you?
All of us got other jobs apart from music, in teaching, sustainability consulting, prosthetic engineering and logistics.
However, We do something everyday related to our music project. Either rehearsing, writing music, looking for inspiration, building shows, planning tour dates or performing.
Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans.
Our music (songwriting, shows) are centralized around togetherness and that is how we want our relation to be with fans as well. In the end of the day it’s all about experiences and moments we share with other people.
What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Be true, be humble about the task, be genuine and never stop believing in your ability.
What are your plans for the future?
We want to keep making music and tell stories that hopefully will travel the world.
