Singer/Songwriter Abby London’s first song of 2022 is titled Miss Him the Most. It’s available everywhere from January 7th. “I had to put this out to close a chapter of my life and open a new one.” Says Abby. She wrote the song to honor Kronos, a long hair black cat she sort of rescued from an ex-boyfriend named Jeff in 2014. Abby first met Kronos when going over to Jeff’s house for the first time. She had an instant connection with Kronos as he plopped right on her and they shared a sun bathing session. Jeff moved in with Abby and brought Kronos along and had Abby officially adopt him.

Kamil) Hey Abby London, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What first got you into music?
It’s hard to say, I don’t remember ever not being into music, so I would say being born, my soul and my parents.
What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Hmmmm a couple interesting ones I won’t say. And tech support work. Which I quit.
Your latest song is 'Miss Him The Most'. Can you tell us more about the making of it and if there were any unusual things happening during the process?
I was in a total daze when I made it. I was crying myself to sleep and hysterically randomly, waiting for the pain to pass. I wrote it very easily. I summed up the relationship. I thought of Kronos. I thought of others.
What do you dislike about the art world?
So many leftists filled with hate and ignorance. Like I used to be.
Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
I had been feeling like I’m boring and my life is boring and I wish I had the vigor and rawness I used to. So I went to my writing studio and made a song about it. I missed the old me. Young. Reckless. I know there were bad parts. I was anxious and desperate, needy and extra.
What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?
I’ll have a lot more money and music out.
What’s your scariest experience?
The thing coming to mind is going on a ride as a kid in the Rosauers parking lot and my dad scaring me on it acting like I was going fall out.
Can you talk about the behind the scenes of the making of the music video?
Me in various places condensing pictures into an album and moving them around to go with the lyrics.
You have produced a music video for your song. It is made from photographs. Where did the idea come from? Do you like cats?
I was originally going to film a music video at the place I buried Kronos(who the song is about) and put in pictures and videos to fill the space. When I started going through my pictures and video, I realized, like most pet owners, that I had more than enough pictures and video to make a music video from. I think I’ve answered the second question.
Have you ever taught or mentored another musician?
Yes, I’ve taught piano, songwriting, guitar, and voice.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m getting into short form video which has been fun. I’m working on promoting my Patreon more. I want to find someone to help me with emails.
