Sun Affair is a project from song-writer Wesley Stormer where he collaborates with different musicians to create catchy, feel-good tunes with lyrics from the heart. ‘After All This Time’ is the fourth and final single from the 'First Sign of Light' E.P. from Sun Affair. The track was written a few years ago but it wasn't until this past year that Wesley with the help of his producer Tim Coggins were able to bring it to life. ‘After All This Time’ features the smooth vocals of Rohan Iyer who has already featured on the debut self-titled Sun Affair track.

What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician?
I think perseverance and a positive outlook is key!
What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?
I love that there is music for every emotion and occasion. You can listen to a heart-wrenching ballad when you’re feeling down or when you’re driving with friends and need something up tempo.
Your latest track is 'After All This Time'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?
‘After All This Time’ is a song that has been with me for many years. I actually wrote most of it 5 years ago! I held onto it and still believed in it so finished off the lyrics in 2020 and put it together with Rohan on vocals.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I guess I wish there was more acknowledgement of songwriting as a craft. I feel like in modern music there is more and more a focus on production and less on songwriting.
Which famous musicians do you admire?
Todd Rundgren, Tatsuro Yamashita, Daryl Hall and John Oates and the elements of Earth, Wind and Fire
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Laid back. Feel-good. Warm. Backyard party with a beer in your hand vibes.
Who inspired you to make music?
I’ve played music all my life starting with clarinet in the school band but it wasn’t until my teens when I started to come up with my own pop tunes. I would say it was my parents who inspired me first by always having good 70’s pop playing in the house like Supertramp, ELO, Billy Joel.
Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
Most definitely. Track of choice - Copacabana by Barry Manilow
What are your plans for next year? Do you have any productions ready to be released?
I just released my debut EP titled ‘First Sign Of Light’ which includes ‘After All This Time’ and some other earlier tunes. I’m looking to give that a fun launch some shows in the new year. I’ve definitely got some new stuff on the horizon too!
