Kamil) Hey Michael Ransom, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician?

I’m not sure really, but I like to think I’m open and honest with my lyrics, and that’s always been something I’ve liked in other artists.

What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?

When I sit down in my little studio and start recording, it really relaxes me and I enjoy creating something from scratch, even if it’s not great!

Your latest track is 'I'd Do It Again'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?

That whole song came to me in the bath,a lot of them do actually !

What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?

I’d be happy if I get to play some festivals, playing live is really important to me. Then I could play live with my brothers and mate!

You live in United Kingdom, London. What do you like most about this place?

Probably the pubs, and I definitely spend too much time in them !

Does your family share your passion for music? What do they think about your work?

They are all quite musical, my brother Ollie writes his own stuff, my brother Phil plays lead guitar and my brother Chris is on the drums. My uncle used to sing Irish folk songs in the pub, that inspired us all I think. They said

Tell me about your favorite performance in your career.

I played at a street party during lockdown, that was pretty wholesome. I need to book a tour for 2022, get out there and go for it.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I’d make vinyls cheaper. There getting ridiculous.

What's the best piece of advice another musician ever gave you?

Finish a song if you start it, even if it’s with nonsense lyrics get the melodies right. You can go back and tweak the lyrics.

What are your plans for next year? Do you have any productions ready to be released?

I’ve got a few bits I’m working on, just thinking about what I want to say next year and what sound i want. Kendrick Lamar albums always have a singular message and feel like a story, I want to do something like that.
