Fate is the gripping debut single of Sydney’s rock group Teresa Green. This tune tells a narrative of uncertainty, nested in this media driven world where the information you receive can be deceptive. Sonically, it will take you through carefully constructed instrumentation, sweeping harmonies to compliment vigorous vocals and towering lead passages. Teresa Green are a collective of 6 individuals, coming together to create an innovative sonic experience. Musicians Joel (keys), Patrick (vocals), Sam (bass), Liam (drums), Grace (vocals) & Stewart (guitar) created this symphonious family, striving to create a community where art can be a voice for human rights and environmental action.

Kamil) Hey Teresa Green, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What is your dream project?
Right now we’re working on a concept album that tells the story anthropomorphic animals living in of a post apocalyptic world. We’re also trying to take steps towards making Teresa Green a collective environment, where we have full time members dedicated to art outside of music.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?
Outside of music we have strong interests in political, community and environmental causes. We also all love our sport and can’t wait to start our own Teresa Green futsal team!
Your latest song is 'Fate'. Can you tell us more about the making of it and if there were any unusual things happening during the process?
Fate was actually first written in a tuning I can’t even remember. In the process of relearning it a strong structure appeared and when played with a full band we knew we were onto something great.
When you are working through problems in your work, who do you talk to?
Talk with each other. We’re a little family full of love <3
What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as an artist?
Expose ourselves to every opportunity and surround ourselves with bands and artists from all different genres and stories as well as exploring new mediums of art.
Describe your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician.
Being a part of an ever expanding creative community. Through Teresa Green we’ve met incredible people who make beautiful music, art, animation etc.
The worst part about being a musician is finding time and resources for your art. Making, releasing & promoting your music to people is an expensive and exhausting process.
Can you write what was your best performance in your career? How do you remember it?
Our first ever headlining show at Kelly’s on King. We had a lineup up of beautiful music friends Melita & Forest Hall, and got to close the night to a packed venue of amazing friends and fans.
What makes you angry?
Exclusivity in the music community! No band or genre is ‘cooler’ than another and we hate to see any ego shutting down others music.
What is an artistic outlook on life?
For us an artistic outlook on life is finding a way to create change through art.
What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?
We’d love to get on some festival lineups, release our first EP, expand our lineup with members that are artists/animators & hit the road on tour!
