Tally Koren - 1000 Stars (radio Edit)

Tally Koren is an award-winning Israeli singer-songwriter and voiceover artist, celebrated for her multilingual performances and passion for using music to bridge cultural gaps — and on her latest single, “1000 Stars”, she reigns a gentle, soothing sound with her synths, soulful singing, and poised percussion that carries the influences of the world over in her sound, all while maintaining a positive outlook in the themes, and a gripping percussive ensemble that more than keeps the song chugging along smoothly, and interesting to the discerning listener. Wrap this up in a mix that is wide and warm, and you have a comfort listen you’re bound to love. Take a listen to the track here!

Kkailou - “tell me”

Kkailou, the latest sonic expression of Margate-based Steph Dickinson, is a genre-defying indie-pop-folk artist blending organic instrumentation with electronic grit — and her latest release, “tell me”, blends her skilled vocal performances with a minimal tech house beat that has great groove and energy. Combined with the poignant pianos in the background and some rather ear-catching production techniques, the sound is wide, organic, and continually evolving, making for a compelling and rewarding listen. Combine this with a host of skilled vocal layers, wafty reverbs and great melodic writing and you have to (!) take a listen to the track here!

Allie Goertz - “Piggy”

Allie Goertz, the figure behind MAD Magazine's transformation, invites you to explore her dark and haunting Nine Inch Nails cover album, 'Peeled Back' — of it, we today talk about “Piggy”; retaining the fervour of the original track by Nine Inch Nails, she carries her rendition with a close, intimate sound that sets the stage for her haunting storytelling voice. With a whispered vocal style and gentle harmonies in the background, she makes excellent use of contrast in her sound to drive forth a compelling, repeat-worthy listen. All in all, a winner of a track! Take a listen to it here:

SEPH - “Cancer Moon”

SEPH, the electro pop artist from Columbus, Ohio, known for his deep, layered production and powerful lyricism, brings a poignant, emotive take on electro pop. On his latest single, “Cancer Moon”, he retains the punch and drive of electro music, while layering it with his ballad-like lyricism, acoustic drumming, and clean instrumentation, all laid atop a graceful synth bass line. With the inclusion of tasteful energy breaks and interludes throughout the song, this is the kind of listen that gives you breathing room before it pulls you in with infectious chorus sections — all in all, a straight-A track! Take a listen to it here:

Boyce Avenue - “My Heart Will Go On”

Boyce Avenue, a Florida-based band known for its strong acoustic roots, consists of brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel, and has garnered over 6 billion social media views — and they now present their latest work, a rendition of the legendary “My Heart Will Go On”, originally by Celine Dion. True to the original in terms of its softness and its poetically romantic themes, they take the sound a leg up with multiple vocalists, styles, and a grand piano and acoustic guitars to keep gentle pulse throughout the track. There’s something magical about this rendition that will keep you going back to the repeat button — and I mean it well.  Take a listen to the track here!
