In this edition of LITM Rock Picks, we curate a mix of artists like Bosco and more!

Bosco - “Shotgun Paradise”

Bosco is an up and coming singer and musician that takes pride in his experimental approach to songwriting — and on his latest single, “Shotgun Paradise”, he brings in elements of goth rock, hip-hop, and hard rock to beautifully mould his style, his talents manifesting quite well into the avant-garde, powerful nature of this track. With a powerful, versatile set of sounds ranging from synths that dot the bass line, to the guitars and the clinical drumming that make up the production, this track is sure to keep your attention from start to end. Round this out with a solid mix and powerful master, and you have quite the winner! Check out the track here!

Corey Jason Dean - “Get Out of The Water”

Corey Jason Dean, a Midwest indie-alternative artist whose catchy phrases, unique rhythms, and eclectic riffs create an atmosphere like none other, has presented his latest single, “Get Out Of The Water” — a powerful hard rock number that draws on its nu-metal sound and influences from the schools of heavy metal to present a package that is packed with power from right the get go. The songwriting and the structure are the standouts of this track as high-energy chorus sections transition seamlessly into more laid-back melodic passages, all while expert guitar playing and thundering drums keep the energy at an all-time high. Tzucasa - “Robots Bore Me”

Tzucasa, the Tokyo-born, London-raised artist, blends her Japanese heritage and European influences into a unique indie rock sound inspired by jazz, grunge, and garage rock — and on her latest single, “Robots Bore Me”, she uniquely fuses her grunge style vocals with crunchy, creamy guitars, all while the drumming keeps things delightfully energetic. The lyrics are the standout here, filled with angst and becoming — and the mix keeps things balanced with the basses, the synth pads that add texture, and the master is well-rounded, making for an engaging listen. Lou Z - “Belongs To Us”

Danish singer-songwriter Lauritz Carlsen delivers drawling, slow-burning alternative rock, channeling the moody vibes of Lana Del Rey, Arctic Monkeys in his artistic moniker, “Lou Z” — and on his latest single, “Belongs To Us”, he presents quite the moody listen from the get go; be it his genre-bending guitar work, or his smooth, elegant vocals, every bit of this track sounds meticulous, and superbly executed. The crunch of the guitars is rather welcoming as the thundering kick drums keep the pulse of the song alive and well, rounding things out with a solid mix that’s wide and expansive. All in all, a winner! Check out the track here:

Legends of the Seven Golden Vampires - “Autumn Fall”

Legends of the Seven Golden Vampires are a dynamic production duo born from the early 2000s DIY mashup scene, fusing a wide variety of sounds that span decades and genres — and on their latest single, “Autumn Fall”, they bring sounds from all the way in the 60s to the 90s. The sampling work and the vocal processing on this track are the easy standouts as the melodic arrangement invokes a feeling of suspense, of mystery; and when the brasses enter atop the steady bass line and the one-two drum beat, there’s only appreciation coming the song’s way for its fluency, and the elegance with which the motifs are executed.
