Bingo Boys - Fake It
Bingo Boys’ latest release “Fake It” is a two-minute thrill ride that will have you listening while holding all your attention. The chorus line of “Just fake it” is unbelievably hooky and you will be humming it to yourself long after you listen to this track. Energetic riffs and a growling bassline as well as the vocal performance on this piece build an expansive and nostalgic soundscape on this track. You can't help but rock out to this music and the pure adrenaline rush it gives you. Bingo Boys are a talented outfit and we can’t wait to see what they put out next!
Hotel Art - Raised on Television
Dynamic duo Boo Hewerdine and Vlado Nosal come out swinging at the fences with their outfit Hotel Art’s latest release “Raised on Television”. The song has a wonderful swing to it with excellent production and an amazing vocal performance, “Raised on Television” is a joy to listen to. A song with a poignant message about the boring humdrum of life contrasted with the excitement and polished perfection depicted on television, the lyrics will resonate with anyone. Featuring excellent guitar work with catchy riffs and a beautiful solo as well as spirited percussion, the song’s instrumentation is full of life. Hotel Art are maestros of their craft and deserve your love!
Bright Tree Village - The Spark
Bright Tree Village describe themselves as coffeehouse rock and I can’t think of a more apt descriptor for their sound than that. “The Spark” is a wonderfully soulful song that simply transports you to a quaint little cafe circa 1990. The lyrics are poetic and the vocals are heartfelt and full of emotion. Bright Tree Village have mastered the acoustic sound and their production leaves this song sounding wonderfully organic. But that’s not all I have to say about the instrumentation, as the heavily acoustic sound is complemented by strong bass and drumming leaving the mix sounding whole. I loved listening to “The Spark” and you should go check it out!
Iris Blue - Outside Perspective
Don’t be misled by the fun and vibrant instrumentation of “Outside Perspective” by Iris Blue as the songwriting sings about something much more melancholic. A song about getting lost in your own head and finding comfort in your own perspective, the lyricism is deep and poignant. The instrumentation on this song is simply perfect alternating between fun riffs and gorgeous arpeggios these musicians really know what they are doing. Featuring a fiery vocal performance, the lines are sung from the heart with a slight edge to them. Iris Blue has written an absolute bop of a track and you will be doing yourself a favour by giving them a listen!
Martyn Scott - Bearable Through Love
Martyn Scott has a talent for fully immersing you in the music through his style and his latest release “Bearable Through Love” is captivating and awe-inspiring. Every motif in this song is uniquely memorable as it embeds yourself in your mind and the mostly acoustic instrumental decorations give this song a natural breezy feel. The messages encapsulated in ”Bearbale Through Love” are empowering and beautiful and will bring a smile across your face, and Martyn’s singing is full of heart, Enchanting and ethereal, every second of “Bearble Through Love” was a joy to listen to, and I know you will end up enjoying this track as much as I did!
