If you enjoy the sound of classic 90s folk music with elements of country mixed in, this is the song for you. Immensely singable the song feature a very strong hook with its chorus and it pairs very well with Shawn’s dynamic and passionate singing style. The instrumentation is simply excellent with a nice well-balanced mix of acoustic and electric elements, and the melodies give this song a timeless appeal. “Road of Bones” brings all the charm of folk music and is a song you must listen to!

An amalgamation of various melodic Hard Rock and Metal stylings “Victory’s Edge” is a technical feat of instrumentatry. The mix is simply perfect with intricate guitar lines and a bass that thumps along loud and proud. The song also doesn’t hesitate to play with tempos and time signatures with a gorgeous clean guitar opening to electrifying distorted motifs. “Victory’s Edge” is a bit of a slow burn that takes its time to build up, but every second of the journey is pure art with every note delicately and deliberately placed to create musical magic!
The Sons of James - THE REAL ME
Punk Rock can feel like some of the most overdone and tired music that you can listen to, but not when you listen to The Sons of James. Their latest single “THE REAL ME” is a breath of fresh air as the band brings a sound that is both vibrant and catchy. A song about the struggle of concealing your true self, the songwriting will resonate with you while the wide soundscape brought forth by the drums and guitar will energise you. The Sons of James are immensely talented as an outfit and have a lot to offer to the Punk Rock scene with their nostalgic yet fresh sound and we can't wait to see what they put out next!
President Elect - Rebound
It's genuinely hard to overstate the power a good song has in energising you and “Rebound” by President Elect is one of those songs. It carries an infectious vibe and mood that simply puts you in the mood to go through the band's entire discography to see what other gems this outfit has to offer. A song about messing up and coping with that fact, the lyricism on display here is some of the best I've ever heard and it pairs perfectly with Iggy’s fiery singing. “Rebound” is a great song that I loved listening to and so will you!
Chip & The Charge Ups - Paying Back The Devil
Chip & The Charge Ups found Pandora’s Box of rock music and opened it releasing every bit of pure untapped power you can squeeze out of music into the world. This song screams energy at you from its opening seconds with face-melting riffs to thunderous bass you feel rumbling in your gut, every part of this song fills you with the best kind of aggressive expressive joy. The chorus and singing are also flaming hot and incredibly hooky and will have you singing along. Chips & The Charge Ups singlehandedly made me relapse into my Hard Rock/Metal phase and that is a testament to their talent as musicians!
