The second release from H Hawkline’s next album I Romanticise, ‘My Mine’ sits nicely beside ‘Last Thing On Your Mind’ with both songs eschewing the more orthodox rock and roll of 2015s In The Pink Of Condition for something altogether harder to categorise and more interesting. Huw’s trademark wordplay, folk imagery and welsh accented singing voice abound all over track, while Cate Le Bon and Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa also lend their instrumental talents here. It’s looking like Huw’s musical ceiling gets higher with age.
