Not keen on repeating themselves, Sweden’s Anti Pony never get too hung up on a certain style. Their impressive ‘Cry On The Floor' was gritty Jefferson Airplane style psych. The following single ‘Under The Palm Trees’ saw them casting 50’s pop melodies through dream pop soundscapes. Latest song ‘Broken Dreams’ is their best yet. It’s a gigantic pop number that, put simply, is hard to describe. Beefy riffs, massive choruses, and a fascinating approach to melody and ambience comprise what is undoubtedly one of the best songs from the indie underground this year.
