Holy B identifies firmly with the DIY-mentality and he stands for a more fair handling of music streams and sales. The “Adventures in Lo-Fi” EPs are exclusively published on Bandcamp and are also available on a limited edition of tape cassettes. Holy B is critical of the conventional guidelines of the music industry, like genre-thinking and streaming services such as Spotify and others. He wants to encourage upcoming artists to create their own scenes and styles.

“Adventures in Lo-Fi” series is therefore a statement. But it is also a synonym of great music. The Vol. 2 starts with “One Tunnel Is Enough”, a quiet and tense introduction, as if it was preparing us for what comes next. “Tunes tunes tunes” puts the volume and the bpms higher, raw stuff! “Fuck Fear” brings us a sample of Michael Jordan, a crossover between pop culture and electronic wildness. Finally, “What Are Those??” is a psychedelic trip where jazz meets electronic rough beats. What a journey!
