Kiss Me Quick’ by Lexytron is a synth and guitar-led track that first leads us in with the song’s main theme before pulling us into its mood and tone. “...Kiss me quick, I don’t want to stick…”, feels like our narrator’s driving force. They repeat the phrase, over and over, as our narrator attempts to come to terms with what feels like an uncomfortable feeling.

It rejects this sense of stickiness that seems to prevail on the track, as it builds and slowly begins to fall apart by the end. “...It’s a wonder whether you cared for me…”.
