JD Days - Take Me Down
JD days are kicking up a storm in the Britpop revival scene with their new song “Take Me Down”. Opening the song with electrifying guitar riffs and classic rock drum beats, it quickly transforms into a complete banger. The vocals come off as strong and bold behind the melodic riffs, occasionally featuring harmonies sung in the background. The distorted lead guitar solo in the middle of the track blows you away with its fast notes and sweeping melodies. The song also exhibits top-notch production quality as the high-pitched vocals contrast beautifully with the distorted guitar riffs and the heaviness of the track. In short, “Take Me Down” is a song to save for all fans of Britpop, Alternative Rock and Rock music.

Matthew Bonnan - Cats All The Way Down
“Cats All The Way Down” is a fun track that stays with you even after the last line of the song is sung. Matthew Bonnan has made a track that will instantly put a smile on your face the first time you listen to it. Till about half of the song, the music is led by a piano and a beautiful vocal line that narrates the saga of humans and cats, from the ancient pharaohs to the modern day. Gradually keys get entwined in the melody and then the beat starts and the song takes a complete turn to a rock ballad. Mellow guitar riffs and rolling drum beats carry the song and its cats all the way down.
The Silent Era - Oscillations
The London-based four-piece band The Silent Era released their latest single “Oscillations”. It is a powerful poignant composition with elements of goth rock, shoegaze and post-punk, creating a dense yet dreamy soundscape. There is a firm and steady backdrop provided by the drum beats which is matched with the dreamy vocal lines. When the electrifying guitar riffs come into play, the song develops a groove that will keep you moving. Onto the explosive soundscape, the vocals of the song shine through and stand out with its gorgeous and powerful sound. The song explores dark themes of the toxic patterns that we keep falling into over and over again and expresses it with its brutal yet dreamy soundscapes and poetic lyrics.
Amanda Stone - Overdose
Amanda Stone is out with her latest single “Overdose” and it’s a right dose of thrills and chills. The song starts with layers of harmony over an electronic-sounding synth pad, which is spread across to create the soundscape. Amanda Stone’s voice echoes through the song like sirens calling out to the sailors in Greek mythology, laced with seductive tones and grace. The layers of harmony come alive in the gaps to elevate the listening experience. The synth pads in the background control the tension, tightening and releasing it in intervals. This peculiar and quirky track is a song that is primal in nature, shifting between genres and sounds.
