Jay Si Proof - Love Bug Drug

Jay Si Proof is out with their latest single “Love Bug Drug, " a light and delightful song bound to cheer anyone up. This summer song comes off as a simple and joyful melody that you can sing along to. On the contrary, the music is intricately arranged with exuberant jazzy chords and curious elements sprinkled throughout. The vocals are accompanied by beautiful harmonies that add to the organic sound of the band. This indie pop song is inspired and crafted with sentiment and love, radiating the same to the listener. “Love Bug Drug” encapsulates the feeling of falling in love and all the feelings that come with it. Don’t miss this gem of a song on your playlist.

Jimmy Arnold - Cult of Personality

Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, Jimmy Arnold is a beacon of a bygone era. He released the album “This… Again?” in 2015 and “Cult of Personality” is the opening song of the album. The song is a tight composition with electrifying guitars, thumping drums and soaring vocals that will rock you to the core. This progressive rock song is lush with gripping guitar riffs and riddled with distorted guitar licks all over the soundscape. In fact, the vocals are placed over the licks and take on a simple melody compared to the ingenious melody of the lead guitars. The solo in the middle seals the deal with roaring authenticity and a scathing soul.

Chellcy Reitsma - Death’s At The Door

The Dutch-American singer-songwriter Chellcy Reitsma is out with her latest album “Momento Mori” and at number seven is the song “Death’s At The Door”. The artist explores sinister and real themes revolving around the unpredictability of life, love and death. The song combines elements from several genres such as indie rock, psychedelic rock, alt-folk and pop to create a haunting melody that flows through its verses. The guitar chords bounce through the song with a strong baseline at its root. A melody played on the violin permeates the song at different intervals colouring the music a tad bit melancholic. The soft and subtle percussion outlines the vocals, providing the backbone to this mystic and hypnotic song.

FanSandro - Inside The Capital

The beautiful congregation of two friends Mike (Ivan Danko) and Alex (Sandro) is the genesis of FanSandro and they are back with their latest single, “Inside The Capital”. The song explores the experience of working towards and escaping Kyiv during the Russian invasion as mentioned by the band. As the song starts, there’s a bell ringing in the background amidst all the chaos. When the guitars come into play, the vocals take centre stage and break out as a beautiful melody that’s both hopeful and blissful. The intricate guitar work and the chiselled drum beats add to the energy of the song bringing out the warmth and colour from the music.
