Fake Plastic are a three-piece indie rock band from Hamburg, Germany. Following the success of their debut album, Fake Plastic are all geared up for the release of their second album, “Awake In The Night.” “Waiting/Working” is the fourth and final single from the upcoming album, and it brings a sound and message that hit hard and hit home.
Diving headfirst into life’s challenges—grappling with isolation, going through the motions, and longing for connection—the song takes you on an introspective and immersive journey. Lines like “I was a lost soul," “D’oh I walk a lonely road,” and “I’ll do what I’m assigned to,” tug at the heart.
