LITM Singer-Songwriter Picks This Week: Tessa Lee and more!

This week’s edition of LITM Singer-Songwriter Picks features pieces from Tessa Lee and more!

Tessa Lee - “Dear Friend”

Tessa Lee, a jazz singer and multi-instrumentalist, masterfully blends folk, blues, jazz, and pop into a unique melodic style. Known for her energetic and engaging stage presence, she performs solo on her latest single, “Dear Friend”, as she weaves beautiful, vivid narratives of love, wistfulness and cheery hope. The guitars and the drumming take the cake on this one as do Tessa’s vocals, as they find their groove quite early on in the song, and only age like a fine wine as the song progresses. With gentle ebbs and swells in the energy from the guitars, there’s only smoothness and maturity to the sound; and we’re fans. Take a listen here!

Ignacio Wer - “Much A Time in Ache”

Ignacio Wer, a boundary-pushing musician from Buenos Aires now based in Berlin, fuses folk, psychedelic rock, and electronic music into an endearing and evolving sound — and on his latest single, “Much A Time in Ache”, he meanders through complex emotions, with him and his guitar against the world, seemingly; and while at it, he manages to create a great deal of emotional impact, telling a story with quite the flair and resolve. The production is delightfully minimal, and that lets Ignacio’s voice truly shine on this one, making for a truly heartfelt listen. Take a listen to the track here!

Josh Savage - “Fight Another Day”

Singer and songwriter Josh Savage has been making the waves in the indie scene lately; with his electronic influences, grand pianos and soulful singing, he’s quickly skyrocketing to more than ten thousand listeners on platforms; and on his latest single, “Fight Another Day”, he brings us shiny messages of hope, all in his own electro-blended sound, preserving the soul of the music and the message in every verse. There’s also much to appreciate about the mixing here, with its deep and far-reaching atmosphere and sound while retaining excellent balance throughout, making for a rather upbeat, entertaining listen.
