Nero Simon and the Sunsetters - Baker Street
Nero Simon and the Sunsetters bring us their own fresh sound and take on the classic rock anthem “Baker Street”. Fans of the original will instantly feel at home as this outfit immediately nails the iconic sax line and synth backing. Nero Simons's voice suits this style of music amazingly well and he nails the passion and soul of the original, and his inclusion of back-up vocals only elevates the soundscape to new heights. I loved listening to this track and Nero Simons and the Sunsetters prove the adage that imitation is art with this cover, so go check it out today!
Sam Feinstein - Maslow’s Mountain
A groovy, funky and experimental track with an unforgettable soundscape, Sam Feinstein’s “Maslow’s Mountain” is a song that will knock your socks off. This track has a vibrant soundscape with an instrumental that is driven by synths and bass arranged in eclectic groovy melodies. The vocal stylings on this track are nothing if not unique with their grizzly delivery and fiery passion. Everything about this track is well constructed and well crafted and you can hardly feel the time passing you by as you listen. I loved this song and highly recommend that you go check it out for yourself!
Kwolek - Cemetery Days
Kwolek has brought us a rock anthem that is full of drive and power with an ethereal and hazy sound with their latest offering “Cemetery Days”. This song is driven by its clean guitar lines and bass which firmly sit at the centre of the soundscape. The vocal lines garnish this track and fill it with a sense of driving rhythm and their delivery is simply one of a kind excellent. Kwolek is an up-and-coming band with a lot to offer to the indie rock scene. So go check them out and add their music to your playlists!
Electric Hoarse - Endless Summer
Electric Hoarse has knocked it out of the park and brought us a powerhouse of a track with their latest release “Endless Summer”. This song like its namesake implies has a bright and summery sound accentuated by the springy power chord rhythms and driving bassline. The vocals are excellent and soothing with their delivery and smooth laminar flow. This track is also well produced and the mix gives this song a full body and good balance leading to a satisfying listening experience. I loved listening to this track and so will you, go check Electric Hoarse out and add their music to your playlist today!
Bosola - Truth Man
Bosola brings us a true heavy hitter of a track with their latest rock offering “Truth Man”. This song has a wonderfully retro-esque sound with fuzzy guitars and laid-back vocals that take you back to the late 60s and early 70s with their style. But this is far from just an era or a genre piece and has its distinct flair and flavour to its sound that is pure deliciousness to listen to. Bosola has knocked it out of the park with this one and I am personally a fan. We can't wait to see what this band puts out next but in the meantime go check them out!
