They Travel At Night - Go On
They Travel At Night have brought to the fore their latest single, “Go On”— a winding journey of synth-filled beauty wrapped in engaging vocals. This track experiments with vocal textures and synths and has a dreamy, ethereal soundscape with a delightful blend of acoustic guitars and warm, fuzzy 80s-90s synths, all coming together to create a listening experience like no other. THere is much to appreciate about their music as they grow their style and find their niche, and I'm confident there are great things coming from the They Travel At Night kitchen-- check out their music today!
Mel Sense - Untouchable
“Untouchable” by Mel Senese is what one would chracterise as happy-go-lucky “bubblegum pop”— but with a twist! The melodic arrangement of this song strikes your view right from the get go— and the refrains are quite something of their own; all while wrapped up in a smooth, flowing electropop beat. Mel’s voice is energetic and lively, and sits excellently well amid all the layers in the production. The production easily elevates this song even further, with the mix and master chipping in to create an excellent image and bring forth the message quite comfortably. Check out the track here!
Nieri - Spoiler Alert
“Spoiler Alert” by Nieri is this midtempo, synth-infused electropop number that has quite the step and quite the groove to itself right from the very beginning— and as we waft through the song, we’re struck with a familiar feeling of future nostalgia— and there’s much to appreciate here! The percussion drives the mix quite effortlessly, with the low-end work being worth a special commendation here- there is just enough, not as to overdo it. The mix tops things off with a clear, well-glued sound that makes this song a great, enjoyable listen. Check out the track here!
Cashemotional - Eco
“Eco” by Cashemotional is an upbeat Latin reggaeton number, with a bit of a twist— this is much more electronic dance music than it is pure reggaeton— and we’re a fan! I suppose it is par for the course for reggaeton music; you hear it, you’re suddenly energised, and you’re grooving to the music; and that is the case here. Cash’s voice is also great here, with effortless display of range and clarity, with a warm, welcoming mix. The vocals top it off with their catchy melodies and nice layering. Check out this track today!
Zarah Westhouse - With An Iron Heart
“With An Iron Heart” by Zarah Westhouse is this grand display of drama, of cinematic flair; right from the opening notes with the droning pianos in the background, there is an undeniably powerful element of melodrama; and layer that with a deep house beat in the hook; this song comes at you with full force in the dark energy department, leaving no stone unturned in its effort to get you grooving and moving. The dynamics are much to my appreciation here, with the high and low energy parts of the song layering themselves effortlessly between each other; and overall, this is a great listen.
