Snakedoctors - Why Don’t
Snakedoctors are a European outfit that makes moody atmospheric Hard Rock, and their latest release “Why Don’t” is a hard-hitting track that oozes finesse. “Why Don’t” is bold and its soundscape reaches dizzying heights with a masterful production. The guitars are booming and inescapable while the drums maintain a steady authoritative beat. Typing the whole track together is a vocal performance for the books which makes “Why Don’t” sound full and rounded. Snakedoctors embrace their Euro-rock inspired sound with open arms and create music that brings the house's walls down. We can't wait to see what this band puts out next, but “Why Dont” is a must-listen for the time being!
Faults - Just Let It
“Just Let It” is an encaptivating piece by Berlin-based artist Faults. Encapsulated by a dream-pop soundscape the track is a genre-bending mastercraft blending elements of post-punk into it. The song opens on a smooth bassline that pops in your ears and immediately draws and holds your attention towards the music. Backed up by dreamy synths that back up the bassline and the vocals, the music paints a picture in your mind. KC Dahlehan’s vocals on this track are simply a pure joy to listen to. Her styling as well as the nature of the melodies makes “Just Let It” a ridiculously catchy song that plays with your eardrums!
Astro-Lloyd - Please and Thank You
The energy that “Please and Thank You” injects into your veins is the same as taking two Red Bulls on an empty stomach and then chasing them with an espresso. Astro-Lloyd has crafted a brilliantly infectious track that deserves to be replayed over and over again. “Please and Thank You” wastes no time getting started with tight drumming and loud powerful guitars as well as passionate vocals all of which demand your attention and compel you to sing along to the chorus lines. The song is full of soul and its message of resilience is perfectly on-brand it's aggressive style. Astro-Lloyd has brightened the pop-punk scene with this release!
Waverly Drive - Now I Know
“Now I Know” by Waverly Drive has an overtly 80s aesthetic from the moment it starts playing with its dreamy production and heavily featured synth beats. A song about regretting finding the truth you sought the message is perfectly pointed and easy to resonate and empathise with. Throughout its runtime, Waverly Drive maintains a surreal atmosphere with the song and it's a feeling comparable to having an out-of-body experience. This is further accentuated by the hazy soulful vocals. A song as much about acceptance as it is about regret, “Now I Know” carries a couple of hopeful notes in its backing melodies which further elevate its meticulously crafted soundscape. Waverly Drive has made a track that is charming, heartfelt and altogether ethereal and I’m a fan and as would you be once you give the track a listen!
Rylee - Time
Rylee’s “Time” is a catchy piece that is quintessential Rock with elements of Pop infused into its DNA. Rylee maintains a steadily picked main riff on the guitar that serves to build anticipation for the explosive chorus. The chorus is simply perfection in its purest form, containing all the elements that make a good chorus; an infectious hook that you can sing along to, powerful guitars and hard-hitting lyrics that summarize the theme of the song. What more could you ask for in a song? It is very evident that Rylee pours his heart and soul into every song he crafts and those efforts result in him producing gems of indie-rock and “Time” is no different!
