The Daytime High - Pandemonium
“Pandemonium” by The Daytime High is a wonderful fusion of Classic Rock and Alternative Music. If you are a fan of Classic Rock the song will take you back to the 70s, but not a single tune or melody in this track is banal as it has an undeniably fresh and modern sound to it. Dealing with themes of love and loss the song features soulful lyrics sung from the heart with crystal-clear instruments to tie it all together. Changing gears at the midsection “Pandemonium” is a handcrafted delicacy of technically skilled artists at their A-game.
Spencer Brill - Hospital Song
The world in 2023 tries to forget the two years we were collectively put through hell with the Covid Pandemic. Everyone has a story to tell from that time. Spencer Brill is here to serenade us with his music and “Hospital Song” is indubitably directly addressing the horrors of Covid. Incredibly light in its tone, “Hospital Song” juxtaposes the tone of its instruments with the immensely heavy subject matter of its lyrics. In his style as a musician, Spencer Brill’s music will make you cry while making you feel like you are being hugged at the same time. “Hospital Song” is no different in that regard and is the latest feather in his cap
As Seen Above - Rose Tinted
As Seen Above’s “Rose Tinted” is classic British Rock meeting Alternative Rock. Exceptionally well-mixed all the instruments sound amazing throughout this track’s runtime. That's not to say you ought to sleep on the vocals. Tender and full of emotion the singing in this song as well the themes of heartbreak this song carries within will tug on your heartstrings. With not a dull moment “Rose Tinted” is a well-polished work of art.
The Parlor - Remember How
“Remember How” is a dreamy, surreal, psychedelic auditory experience. It is everything dream-pop aspires to be. The production of this song is top shelf, as it's incredibly easy to fall into the trap of making dream-pop sound overproduced and dissonant. But “Remember How” carries a solid core melody and builds upon it to build an absolutely enormous soundscape. “Remember How” is not the type of song you listen to while you are working out, cleaning the dishes or doing any other type of labour. It is pure magic you listen to when you have a moment alone and you close your eyes and simply let every note resonate through you.
TNL VZN - Do You Know What Happens Next?
With massive guitars and heavy bass, TNL VZN has reopened Pandora’s Box and has released into the world the pure untapped aggression of 90s Alternative Hard Rock with elements of Grunge injected into it with their latest release “Do You Know What Happens Next?”. The vocals on this track are also incredibly well done with haunting melodies and lyrics rich with imagery, you can feel the emotions the song is conveying in your bones. TNL VZN are masters of their craft and we can't wait to see what they put out next!
