Former Mac Demarco guitarist Homeshake has cut a standout path in his solo career so far. Already two LPs in, ‘Every Single Thing’ is the new single from third long-player ‘Fresh Air’. Naturally Homeshake is drawn to a similar palette of sounds as Mac, but this song adds a slick nineties R&B feel into the mix which sounds authentic enough to not be a commercial affectation (like so many indie groups nowadays). A bouncing bass and some TLC style vocals make ‘Fresh Air’ a spellbinding trance to fall into.
